Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes physical healing. It’s traditionally administered by the “laying on of hands” by an experienced practitioner of the art and is based on the idea of an unseen “life force energy” that flows through us.

Proponents of Reiki believe that if our life force energy is low, we are more likely to get sick due to the compromised immune system that often accompanies being overwhelmed by stress. Reiki is a holistic method for reducing the harmful effects of this imbalance of energy.

Reiki & Thai Yoga Massage

This unique art can be combined with Thai yoga massage for a total experience of physical and mental well-being. Thai yoga massage relies on specific massage techniques and restorative yoga postures to stretch muscles and leave the client’s body feeling renewed and refreshed. Combining the energy work involved in Reiki with these techniques brings the absolute being into mental and physical alignment.
